Synopsis
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USAGE) Afghanistan Engineer District- North intends to solicit construction firms as prime contractors experienced in working in Afghanistan and is interested in submitting best value price offer for this project. The project consists of the design and construction of site improvements and construction of facilities to support the Afghanistan national Border Police (ANBP) Units in Imam Sahib (Shir Khan Bandar), Kunduz, Afghanistan. This project is defined as the management, design, material, labor, and equipment, to site design and construct and/or refurbish all utilities, roads, buildings, force protection measures, site security, de-mining activities, and other features as referenced herein. The work within this contract shall meet and be constructed in accordance with U.S. design and International Building Codes (IBC), Life Safety Code (NFPA-101), Force Protection and security standards. The estimated price range is less between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 IAW Far 36.204.
The solicitation is scheduled for release on or about 17 May 2011.
